This time, we took a moment to explore one of the smallest states of India - Assam. Haflong in Assam is something we have been waiting to visit for so long, and we loved the experience :)

The most common way to reach Haflong is by road. It's approximately a 4-5 hour drive from Silchar, and the route is with tea plantations and panoramic vistas. Regular bus services connect Haflong to nearby towns and cities. 

  • By Train

For a scenic train journey, consider taking a train to Maibong, which is close to Haflong. The rail route offers mesmerizing views of the hills and valleys, providing a unique landscape perspective.

  • By Air

The nearest major airport is in Silchar, approximately 3-4 hours away by road. You can then hire a taxi or take a bus to reach Haflong. The flight to Silchar provides a convenient option for those travelling from other parts of the country.
