Avoid the last-minute rush by initiating the visa application process as early as your travel plans are confirmed. Failure to receive the required visas in time can lead to restrictions to enter your destination.

• Other Identifications

Carry official documents from your country with your passport, such as a driver's license or an ID card. These can be valuable in unforeseen cases, such as losing your passport or any issues with airport security.

Carrying one or more authentic documents can give you a backup in case of any misunderstandings, ensuring you can still prove your identity and citizenship.

• Boarding Passes

Download or print your boarding passes before starting your trip. If possible, carrying digital and physical copies ensures accessibility and minimizes the risk of technical issues.

Maintain a well-organized folder or digital document containing all your travel reservations, including flight confirmations, hotel bookings, and pre-arranged activities or tours.

It's beneficial to have confirmation emails or reservation numbers easily accessible to ensure a smooth check-in process at accommodations and facilitate any necessary communication with service providers.

Money and Payment Methods

Ensure you have sufficient local currency for small expenses, markets, or places that may not accept cards. Local currency is essential where card payments are less common, especially when exploring remote areas.

• Distributed Storage

Going to an unknown place means experiencing everything will also be new. So, separate your cards and cash. Keep one set in your wallet or purse while the other in a secure location to safeguard from loss or theft.

Opt for travel-sized toothbrushes and toothpaste for their compactness and convenience. Many brands offer mini versions that are easy to pack and meet airline regulations for liquids.

Also, carry dental floss for effective oral hygiene. Small floss containers or disposable floss picks are a few convenient options to carry in tight spaces. 

• Compact Containers

Use travel-sized or refillable containers for shampoo, conditioner, and soap. Doing so minimizes the space these items occupy in your toiletry bag and can save room for a few more things.
